It is rich, creamy and incredibly yummy. If you’re lucky, you can indulge on your hot cocoa at the best window seat in the Westend.

If you haven’t tried Hazel Mountain’s hot chocolate, where have you been? It is simply a chocolate lover’s dream. Maybe it’s time to say goodbye to a regular milk chocolate hot coca and say hello to mint, salted honey, and spiced hazelnut praline hot chocolates. The best part is you can get a toasted marshmallow on top to accompany your delicious beverage- try this and thank us later!

It’s safe to say Butlers are renowned for their hot chocolate! Experience chocolate heaven here. Their hot chocolate has won awards galore, and if you have tried it you would definitely see why. Pouring white chocolate swirls and dark chocolate too, there is really something to suit all tastebuds.

If you fancy a sweet treat that has a rich kick, then this hot chocolate is the one for you. It is autumnal and cosy, perfect to have whilst strolling down Quay Street and the Long Walk. If you get there at the right time, you may be able to snatch up one of their stunning window seats upstairs.

Topshelf’s hot chocolate is undeniably a hidden gem! It’s tucked away on Fairgreen Road beside the Galway Coach Station. Their smooth and creamy hot chocolate is delicious and the perfect comforting drink this time of the year. It’s also less than a five minute walk from the train if you are looking for a tasty hot chocolate on the go!
Cut throat
Most people know Cut Throat as a barber shop but their café, located in front of the barber’s, is wonderful! Their hot chocolate has the perfect amount of froth and feels like you’re drinking a warm cloud. If it’s not too chilly out, we recommend you sit outside because it is a people watcher’s dream!
