Registration for the National Spring Clean 2025 is now open. Galway County Council and An Taisce are hoping to make this April’s campaign the most successful to date and are encouraging the public to get involved in the annual initiative.
Last year, more than 200 local groups joined volunteers from across Ireland to remove 2,500 tonnes of litter from roadsides, parks, and coastlines.
Councillor Martina Kinane expressed appreciation for ‘the year-round efforts of local volunteers’ and says it is important to ensure County Galway is ‘litter-free for residents and visitors alike’.
Householders, schools, businesses, and communities across County Galway are once again being encouraged to register and take part in the 26th annual campaign.
