Four men arrested following violent disorder incident in Ballinasloe

Gardai are currently investigating a dramatic incident that took place in Dunlo Hill/Fairgreen in the Ballinasloe area on Saturday, 4 November at around 11.40 pm.
A man in his forties is currently in critical condition at Beaumont Hospital in Dublin following the incident.
Four men have been arrested and detained by Gardai. Three women (two in their twenties and one teenager) have since been released without charge. A man in his twenties has been charged and has faced the Roscommon district court this Tuesday 7, November at 10.30 am.
The investigation
Gardaí are currently still investigating and are appealing for any witnesses to this incident to come forward. Any road users who may have been travelling in the Dunlo Hill/Fairgreen area between 11:30 pm and midnight on Saturday 4 November, and have camera footage (including dash-cam), are asked to make this footage available to Gardaí.
