Galway’s Supermac’s Wins CX Excellence Customer Champion 2023 in Restaurant Sector

The Galway-originated fast food chain Supermac’s, has won Excellence Customer Champion 2023 as the Best Brand in the Restaurants sector in the Irish Customer Experience (CXi) Report.

The CX Company’s CXi Report looks to mark the CX Performance, i.e. the customer experience and engagement, from the top businesses in Ireland through real customer feedback. 

This survey was conducted from 8 June to 4 August, 2023, asking a range of Irish consumers to give feedback on their personal experiences. With over 150 companies across 11 different sectors being evaluated, 29,640 customer opinions lay a basis for this year’s results. The CX Champions are celebrated by their customers for providing an enjoyable and noteworthy experience. 

Survey Results

Supermac’s is leading the Restaurant sector at 32 in the top 150 league table, up four places from 2022. Subway followed them, placed at 72 overall, with a 19-spot drop from last year. Insomnia is at 73, having fallen 18 places. 

According to the report, the Restaurant sector dropped one place this year to fifth in the overall rankings of the sectors. There was an improvement in the overall scores of 4 per cent, and 88 per cent of the companies are in the top 100, a 6 per cent drop from 2022.
