Ireland’s largest comedy festival, Galway Comedy Festival, is returning this October with an impressive lineup up of Irish comedy talent and international stars.

Laughs galore

As well as stand-up shows, the festival is holding a number of entertaining events sure to have you in stitches.

Faulty Towers: The Dining Experience takes place in the Galmont Hotel, which promises to be a three-course meal served with a side of chaos in tribute to the beloved sitcom.

Hector Ó hEochagáin will host Gáire as Gaeilge and WOMP Events are bringing back their ‘Nonsense Night’ after a sold-out show last year.

Speaking on the lineup, Festival Director Kevin Healy says: “Once again we have scoured the globe to bring you more than 70 top class performers.

“Each and every one of these artists have been hand-picked for your delight. That’s why we call it carefully curated craic. We suggest you take a chance and go to see someone you haven’t heard of yet.”
