Paul McCullagh, Boojum Marketing Manager said, “Students will be able to avail of the Buy 1 Bank 1 offer by simply coming into our Spanish Parade store anytime tomorrow and purchasing a main meal.”
The main meals that qualify for the promotion include burritos, fajitas, bowls, and tacos.
Speaking to Galway Pulse, McCullagh said “This is our biggest-ever giveaway of free burritos. The campaign is being promoted across our social channels today and tomorrow.”
He also mentioned that brand ambassadors will be out around the store and the NUIG campus today handing out flyers promoting the Buy 1 Bank 1 promotion.
Fund your studies
Additionally, the company set up a ‘Fund Your Studies’ campaign. The aim is to give one student a chance to win five thousand euros to help with education fees.
“Life at university can be financially challenging at the best of times. This year especially with inflation soaring, students will really be feeling the pinch.”
David Maxwell, Boojum’s Managing Director
The campaign aims to assist in reducing the rising costs of living for a student living in Ireland.
The Mexican food chain hopes the prize fund will make a positive impact and alleviate some financial pressure.
David Maxwell, Boojum’s Managing Director said, “We have always been a student-focused brand and are constantly looking into ways that we can give back to our loyal customer base.”
