A Galway-based bus company, Citylink is to suspend all bus services from 00:30 on Saturday 21 March due to coronavirus.
The company has said that all Citylink and eireagle.com services will be suspended, “until further notice’ and encourages customers due to travel with them to check its website for details.
In a statement, this afternoon the company said:
“This decision has been taken after careful consideration for the health & well-being of our staff and customers and to help in reducing the spread of the Coronavirus. Passengers will be updated through our website and social media platforms”.
Citylink has been operating inter-city coach travel in Ireland since 2003 and employs 80 people in Galway, Dublin and Cork.
In recent years it has expanded its network of routes and now operates high frequency express services linking Ireland’s major cities, towns and airports.
