Leading US Medical Data Company to Create 125 Jobs with New R&D Centre in Galway

Datavant, an Arizona-based information technology company leading in health data, is bringing 125 new jobs to Galway as it has announced the opening of its first Irish Research and Development centre.

Inititally, Datavant will be based in the Portershed but are set to open a new centre in the city by the end of the year.

Minister for Enterprise Tourism and Employment, Peter Burke, congratulated Datavant on the opening of their new R&D centre in Galway, stating that ‘this great news comes with plans to hire 125 people in Galway over the next two years’ and that ‘recruitment is already underway’. He will be at the announcement in the Potershed from 11:30am today.

Galway native Ciaran O’Toole has been announced as the company’s new Vice President of Engineering and Galway Technical Lead.
