The Dáil is set to vote today at 3:10 on whether to accept new speaking time arrangements or not.
The ongoing row over speaking rights has seen the Dáil descend into chaos multiple times whilst in session in the last number of months.
It is likely that there will be unruly scenes and shouting battles today by opposition parties directed at the government coalition. It is expected the leaders of the major opposition parties will speak with direct to the government parties with untamed voices.
Galway TDs Noel Grealish and Sean Canney joined the Regional Technical group in early December, the group which is at the centre of this speaking rights row. Grealish and Canney are joined by Marian Harkin, Barry Heneghan, Michael Lowry, Kevin Boxer Moran and Gillian Toole.
The Dáil vote and Leaders Questions before hand will be very interesting albeit the government has the majority, really and truly this debacle is only going one way.
