Mexican restaurant chain Boojum was back with their ‘Buy One Bank One’ deal just in time for Freshers week.

Their Galway chain attracted crowds of college goers yesterday to get their burrito fix and a voucher to trade in for a rainy day.

All students needed to do was show their valid student ID card when buying their favourite main meal and they would be given a voucher for a free meal to save for a later date.

This promotion also gathered flocks of students at the beginning of the last college year and has been brought back, much to the delight of Galway students.

These vouchers will be redeemable between 28 September and 31 October 2023, according to Boojum’s social media accounts. Their online campaign has attracted the attention of students across the country.

Mexico, anyone?

As part of their Freshers campaign, the restaurant is also giving away an all-expenses paid trip to Mexico for two. By entering their name, email address, city, and Boojum app ID, on the entry form on the Boojum website students could be in with a chance to win flights, accommodation, and activities for two people. This competition is open until 29 September.

Founded in Belfast, the Mexican-inspired burrito chain has fourteen restaurants across the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Popular amongst students, the restaurant has locations in many major college cities throughout Ireland which include Galway, Dublin, Cork, Limerick, and Belfast. Some of the main meals to choose from include burritos, burrito bowls, salads, and more.
