Gardaí renew hit-and-run appeal

Galway motorists have been asked to check dash cam footage as Gardaí investigate a hit-and-run incident that left a man seriously injured in the city last October.
Gardaí have urged members of the the public to come forward with any information concerning a serious hit-and-run collision which occurred in the Lidl car park on the Headford Road.
The man received serious injuries when he was struck by the car. The mystery car involved failed to remain at the scene.
Gardaí are particularly appealing to anyone who may have been in the Lidl car park, Headford Road, Galway around 5pm on Thursday the 1 October 2020.
Any road users that were in the area that may have video footage, including dash-cam footage, are also asked to contact Galway Gardaí.
The Gardaí have asked the driver involved in the hit-and-run in the Lidl car park on the Headford road to contact them.
Anyone who has information in relation to this incident should come forward and contact the Gardaí.
