Apology – Simeon Burke
In an article published by GalwayPulse on Monday 9 March 2020 we made certain claims about NUI Galway student Simeon Burke, who was a candidate in the recent student union elections.
The article stated that he had made homophobic remarks and also that he had said his posters were burned down by members of the LGBTQA+ community. These claims were false. We apologise unreservedly to Mr Burke.
