Electric Ireland has announced up to €100 price reductions in gas and electricity for 1.2 million residential customers.

These reductions will come into effect on April 1st and will see a price reduction of 2.5% for residential electricity and 11.5% reduction for residential gas.

Executive Director of Electric Ireland, Marguerite Sayers said that customers will benefit from the combined reduction of both gas and electricity.

“This is Electric Ireland’s largest reduction in gas prices since we began selling gas and means our dual fuel customers will benefit from a combined reduction of €100 per year,” she said.

“In addition, we provide customers with a long-standing discount rate that doesn’t disappear after a year, innovative new products and the right energy advice.”
